Mr. Yadav is the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The outgoing CM Chouhan suggested his name, and senior party leaders backed the proposal. Mr. Yadav has been an MLA for three terms and was previously in charge of higher education in Chouhan's government. The swearing-in ceremony is anticipated to take place on or after December 13th.
